3 Reasons Your Small Business Needs Social Media

There are a lot of small business owners out there that don't utilize social media to grow their business. If your business is new and you are a little overwhelmed with providing new clients with what you sell, then you probably don't have time to sit around figuring out which platforms will work best for you. Perhaps you’re not savvy with a computer. Here are three reasons why you should start using social media now.

1) People Need To Find You

The first thing I do when I hear about a new business or I want to visit a new business I Google it. If I don’t see a website, Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest account I become a little baffled. Everyone should be on social media even if it’s a simple website. Chances are I won’t buy from you if you aren’t on the web.

2) You Need To Build A Community

When people visit your business and buy your product and like it, they want to share it with others. Word of mouth will always be the best advantage you will have to get potential clients to you.

3) Social Media Is The Best Way To Grow Your Business

When you have an established social media presence you can share your business ideas, products, sales and network with like minds. Communication is key to building a community, not to mention you can be found and visitors will see that you are serious about your product.

Bottom line, get online. Make new friends and grow your business. If you need help Social Nudge is here for you. I’ve been doing this for a long time and there are simple and inexpensive ways I can help you build a community and help you sell your product.

It's official! The Cybils Awards Judges Are Announced!
Kristi's Book Nook is a panelist for Round 1!
I'm so excited to be able to read so many books and cast a vote for the best of the best in children's literature for 2016. Stay tuned for more reviews of some really cool books. My category for judging will be EarlyReader/Early Chapter books.

Cybils Awards Mission The Cybils Awards aims to recognize the children’s and young adult authors and illustrators whose books combine the highest literary merit and popular appeal. If some la-di-dah awards can be compared to brussels sprouts, and other, more populist ones to gummy bears, we’re thinking more like organic chicken nuggets. We’re yummy and nutritious.
