What's Your Business Strategy?

You're ready to start showing off your business to your target audience. The first question you may ask yourself is how to get started. If you're not social media savvy this could be a big problem. If you are social media savvy you probably don't have time to spend sharing tweets or posting to Facebook because your busy working on your product. One thing you must do is get out there for the world to see. The best way to do this is to create a website.

I'm sure that when you decided on a business adventure and created a business plan you already knew that part of your strategy to get clients was to have a way for them to find you. Here are three free websites that are easy to navigate and set up for anyone savvy or not. The best thing about these sites is they are free to get started.

At Wix.com you can pick from hundreds of free templates, drag and drop your own photos, and create your own domain.

At Web.com, you will find services that will help you grow your business. You can get your own domain and get a business email. They provide help with web publishing, hosting, marketing and even ecommerce assistance.

With Weebly.com you can create and online store. Acquire a blog and post articles about your business. There are themes to choose from and you can drap and drop your photos.

These are just a few of the websites out there than can help your business be seen so you can share your products. Don't forget I'm here at Social Nudge to help. If you find that you don't have the time to set up a website I'm here to help you. I'm have the experience and setting up a website for you will take me just half the amount of time.

Where To Get Free Books for Gifts

I always say that books are the best gifts. It's a great way to relax, learn, escape and make a new friend in a favorite character. If you're on a budget where can you find the best bargains for books for the holidays, birthdays or whatever?

Book Giveaways This is a great time of year for getting free books. Book bloggers are doing themed giveaways to get rid of books they've accumulated all year. Kristi's Book Nook saves up books from reviews and donates them to kids in need for the holidays.  It's a great idea to participate in some awesome giveaway hops. Kristi's Book Nook does book giveaways weekly, so you'll want to stop by to see what cool books are there. Kristi's Book Nook does special giveaways to newsletter followers so you'll want to sign up there too. Below is a list of bloggers who are known for giving away books, gift cards and more.

The Cybils Awards Judges Are Announced!

It's official! The Cybils Awards Judges Are Announced!
Kristi's Book Nook is a panelist for Round 1!
I'm so excited to be able to read so many books and cast a vote for the best of the best in children's literature for 2016. Stay tuned for more reviews of some really cool books. My category for judging will be EarlyReader/Early Chapter books.

Cybils Awards Mission The Cybils Awards aims to recognize the children’s and young adult authors and illustrators whose books combine the highest literary merit and popular appeal. If some la-di-dah awards can be compared to brussels sprouts, and other, more populist ones to gummy bears, we’re thinking more like organic chicken nuggets. We’re yummy and nutritious.
